Named after the English town, Eccles cakes were created in 1793. Ours are made from flaky, buttery pastry filled with currants and topped with a light sprinkling demerara sugar.

During the winter months, our Bakers create this wonderful loaf filled with apricot, dates and walnuts - decadent but healthy too!
